This is my first entery from a big set of photos that I have shot in Jordan, back in 2007.
I was a bit lost on what should I post as the first photo from Jordan, but then a simple equation “when you say Jordan, you directly think about Petra & when you think about Petra, the Treasury is the first thing that comes to your mind” solved the problem.
Karni / Garni Pagan Temple in Kotayk, Armenia was built in n the first century A.D. by the Armenian King Tiridates (Dertad Takavor) with the money he received after visiting Emperor Nero in Rome.
In 1679 the temple was destroyed by an earthquake, but later, during the Soviet era, it was rebuilt.
This is one of the first high dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) Shots! HDR is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminance between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques.
This HDR was made using 14 individual shots & shot from the Mar Charbel Church, Lebanon.
I’ll post some photos later to make the comparison.
