Armenian Genocide: Echoes of the dream
This one was shot during the protest on April 24, 2012, in front of the Turkish embassy, Rabyeh, Lebanon. At 100% crop I can clearly see myself in his/her eye!
PS: If you know this little fellow, please do let me know. I would love to send a printed version of the photo over.
Dzidzernagapert or Tsitsernakaberd, “fortress of small swallows” in Armenian, (Armenian: Ծիծեռնակաբերդ, Russian: Цицернакабéрд) is a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide; it is located on a hill overlooking Yerevan, Armenia. Every year on April 24, hundreds of thousands of Armenians gather here to remember the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide that took place in the Ottoman Empire carried out by the Turkish government.
